My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.Ruby interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience. A volunteer writes: Baby Ruby found herself in an apartment that technically wasn't hers but since she was there and looking a little worse for wear, she thought she'd inquire about finding some help. Help brought her here, where Ruby sits in the corner at the top of her condo ledge. She very much wants to be seen, but needs to be reassured we want to see her too. I shared a couple of neck scritches and Ruby melted herself into my arms, stretching her paws for great emphasis and kneading the air in excitement.
