Lily

My story

My foster writes: Lily is a shy, but sweet, adult female. She prefers to stay in her hiding boxes when people are around, but can be coaxed out for squeezeups or treats. She doesn't currently seek out petting, but doesn't mind sitting next to her human during snacktime. While generally calm, Lily has bouts of playfulness when no one is looking. She previously lived with many cats and is a recent mother. She has good litterbox habits, but is a high pee-er and should have a tall litterbox. Lily would be suited to an adopter with average cat experience and a calm household.Lily is an adult cat that may not have had many interactions with humans from an early age. She is apprehensive of people and while showing no aggressive behaviors, she appears wary of human contact. It is difficult to predict if she will respond to socialization but we recommend offering high value treats and food to help build a positive association to humans. Please be mindful that older cats will require more time and skill in order for them to be comfortable around people. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home. Primary Color: Gray Weight: 7.8 Age: 1yrs 1mths 3wks
