My story

Billy Jim Bob is a big, handsome guy who has been through a lot in his young life, and he’s looking for a very special home. At around 2 years old and 75 pounds, he’s strong, sensitive, and still figuring out how to trust the world again after coming to us with a serious injury.This boy is smart, food-motivated, and enjoys his chews and treats. Once he feels safe, he’ll lean into pets and even melt into a sit for some good butt scratches. He takes time to warm up to new people, but with patience and consistency, he shows his sweet and goofy side.Billy Jim Bob is not a dog for a first-time owner—he needs an experienced adopter who understands big dogs with big feelings. He can get over-aroused in the kennel and on leash, so continued training and structure will be important to set him up for success.
