My story

Meet Manta Ray – the sweetest mama on the block! She's a 6-year-old Beagle mix with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging! After selflessly raising her three pups (and one orphaned baby) Manta Ray is finally ready for a home where she can be the one getting spoiled. This gentle girl has shown nothing but love and patience during her time in foster care. She’s been living peacefully with four cats and two dogs, and gets along with everyone she meets. In the three weeks we’ve had her, she’s only barked once. She’s a quiet, calm presence who brings warmth wherever she goes. Manta Ray is: Almost fully house-trained and trusted alone at home for a couple hours while her foster family runs errands/is at work    Excellent on a leash — no pulling, no stress  Affectionate, cuddly, and happiest snuggled beside you  Happy-go-lucky with the sweetest temperament Though she’s heartworm positive, her treatment is fully covered by WTAR and she’s otherwise in great health. Manta Ray would thrive in just about any loving home — she’s past the puppy chaos but still has so much love (and tail wags) to give. Whether you’re looking for a loyal companion or a cuddle buddy who fits right into your existing pack, Manta Ray is ready to meet you. Adoption Day: September 13th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt.
