My story

Hershey (better well known as CC because of her love of watching Caitlin Clark playing basketball on tv) Dog friendly: yes! Cat friendly: not sure but no prey drive noticed Housebroken: yes Crate trained: unknown but not needed, does great free roaming while left alone Health issues: HW positive but starting treatment beginning of Aug. Good with kids: probably best in a home with older children who understands to go slow at first, although she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body!   Sweet CC was brought into rescue with her 2 young puppies, shutdown and in pretty rough shape. She was covered in scars and fearful of everything. Who knows what all this poor girl has been through but she is clearly a survivor and wants to be loved so very much. I have been fostering CC for around 2 weeks now and the second she met my dog she was thrilled and instantly showed more confidence and looked to him for comfort. She was scared of us at first but wanted so bad to get near us, she just wasn’t ready yet. After a few days she started to really trust us and wanted to be near us. Now she follows us everywhere and greets us with wiggles and smiles when we get back home. CC LOVES going for walks and follows our dog everywhere! She is still a little fearful of people we encounter  on walks but she is getting better everyday. CC is the sweetest most gentle soul and she deserves nothing but love for the rest of her life!  Adoption Day: August 16th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun! ##2446773##
