Meet Audrey – Looking for Her Forever Home Name: Audrey Age: Estimated 3 years Gender: Female (spayed) Breed: Donggyeong Dog mix (Korean native breed) – estimated Color: Brown Weight: 15kg Rescue Story: Saved from a city shelter euthanasia list Personality & Temperament Audrey is a gentle and calm soul. At first, she may be a little reserved, but once you offer her a treat, she warms up quickly and happily accepts gentle pets. When she feels comfortable, she will even roll over to show her belly. She prefers a quieter environment and is not fully comfortable with sudden movements or loud noises from children under 13, so a calmer household would be best. With other dogs, Audrey is polite—she will approach to greet but doesn’t actively engage in play. Even if provoked, she chooses to avoid conflict. She doesn’t guard food from people or other dogs. On walks, Audrey is a dream—she doesn’t pull on the leash, follows her handler well, and enjoys strolling slowly while sniffing around. She notices cats with curiosity, but if guided, she calmly moves along without issue. She has a very low energy level and is happiest relaxing at home. She enjoys quiet play, like gently chewing on toys, but spends most of her time resting peacefully. Daily Life & Routines • Prefers outdoor potty breaks – usually 3 times a day (morning, evening, before bedtime). • Loves walks but enjoys them at a relaxed pace, making her easy to handle even for seniors. • At cafés or public places, she settles down quietly at her guardian’s side. • Gets along with other dogs but isn’t particularly interested in playing with them. • Comfortable in the car—she can get in and out by herself and does not get carsick, even on long drives. • Bathing and brushing are easy with her. She tolerates paw handling and grooming calmly. Audrey at Her Foster Home Currently, Audrey stays with another dog and can be left alone for up to 10+ hours without any destructive behavior. She spends her time quietly resting or playing with a toy. When her foster returns, she greets them with pure joy—wagging, nudging, and happily receiving pets. Though she isn’t overly expressive, she shows affection in her own sweet way—by gently leaning in, offering her face for pats, or simply lying quietly beside you. She’s steady, adaptable, and unfazed by loud sounds like thunder or construction noises. Ideal Home Audrey would thrive in a calm, loving household where she can enjoy peaceful walks, cozy naps, and plenty of gentle companionship. She may need a little time to adjust in a new home, but once she does, she’ll reward her family with quiet loyalty and tender affection. Audrey is ready to open her heart to her forever family.
