My story

Thanks for noticin' me, I'm Eeyore. I know I look a little sad, but I'm a happy guy who loves to snuggle and be pet. I always perk up and hop down off my bed whenever someone comes to visit, and purr happily while they're near. I also enjoy breakfast and catnip stuffies. My foster says "Eeyore is a very sweet cat. He loves to be pet, and is very affectionate. He's normally active in the mornings, and then prefers to find a quiet spot to chill by himself in the mid-day to afternoon. Currently, he is enjoying exploring our house and occasionally chasing string. He has done very well in our home with middle-aged children and a large dog." ________________________________________ Eeyore has a heart murmur that was identified during shelter veterinary care. To determine the severity of the underlying heart defect and the long-term prognosis, an ultrasound of the heart (echocardiogram) would be needed with a veterinary cardiologist after adoption. Ongoing monitoring will be needed with adopter's veterinarian.
