My story

Meet Mavis, an absolute sweetheart of a dog! This adorable girl arrived from a shelter in KY and is ready to live her best life. She is a happy girl, eager to play with the resident dogs or equally content to take a nap in the shade. She also loves long walks and the ability to find lots of good sniffsit is even best if she gets the opportunity to almost chase a squirrel! However, Maviss very favorite thing to do is love her humans. The minute she gently presses her head into your thigh and looks up at you with her soulful eyes, you are done forin the best way. She loves to greet people on walks or just relax with her people. She loves to follow you around the backyard and be your shadow. Mavis is perfect in the crate as wellnapping contently and quietly until she is freed. She is a smart girl and very eager to learn. She is treat motivated, so she will do well with training. Mavis is currently being fostered in Bethlehem, PA, so potential adopters must be willing to drive to meet her in person. Our foster homes will not hold dogs, so you must be prepared to adopt once you submit the application. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our application.
