My story
Meet Verne! Verne was born in a loading dock in Romulus with six siblings — Bruce, Quint, Sid, Lola, and the rest of their lively crew. Just hours after their devoted mom, Diana, brought them into the world, the entire family was rescued and brought to safety. Since then, Verne has grown up in comfort, learning how to be playful, loving, and just a little bit cautious in new situations. Verne is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age-appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
