Name:  Shirley        Best Guess for Breed: Retriever and terrier mix   Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of June 2025       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:   51 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area boarding partner. Shirley needs a foster or forever home!   Shirley is Looking For:   Shirley was a great mama to her babies Sammy, Smith, Scarlet, and Sophie, and they all went off to find their forever homes. She is now eager to get her own human family. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up - yes, please! And to make new pup pals along the way! But most of all - she wants to know where she belongs, upon whom to bestow all the love and loyalty in her heart.What do you say? Will you be the lucky recipient? What My Friends at Boarding Say About Me: Shirley is very snuggly and loves to curl up with the staff, but she also has awesome young-dog energy! She loves to wrestle with the big dogs--she plays well and has made lots of friends already. Shirley is also very food-motivated and will sit for her meals every time. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
