Meet Ruthie! Ruthie is a gentle bulldog mix with a heart as soft as her soulful eyes. At first, she can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. She’s a laid-back girl who prefers cozy naps and quiet companionship over a busy lifestyle.   Ruthie would love a calm, patient home where she can take her time settling in and blossom at her own pace. She’s the perfect match for someone looking for a loyal, easygoing companion who enjoys lazy afternoons and soft snuggles.   If you’re ready to open your heart and give Ruthie the safe, loving home she deserves, she’s ready to be your best friend for life. The adoption fee is 350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.   ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
