My story

DOB: May 27, 2024 Sweet Diamond is a very special girl who will need patience and love to thrive. She is extremely timid; however, when I was recently lucky enough to pick her up, she stayed on my lap, cuddling and purring for almost an hour. She has a very gentle nature from the very beginning. She is learning to trust – she has progressed from snatching her food away and will now eat when I am close by in the same room. Diamond has never been aggressive, just fearful. As her confidence has grown, she has made her little voice heard when requesting more canned (wet) food. She has made her way up to the windowsill ledge to enjoy watching all the comings and goings! Very little is known about her background, I collected her from the vet, which I think was a very overwhelming and upsetting experience for her. Ultimately, Diamond just needs time to trust and feel safe. She will be truly a treasured gem in her forever home. Calm, quiet, and patience is key for this little girl.
