My story

Urgent Foster or Foster-to-Adopt Needed for Ginger Ginger was recently adopted from ACCT Philly, but sadly things aren’t working out in her new home. After four weeks, she’s proven to be a danger to the resident cat, and the situation has only gotten worse. The family has tried everything, but can no longer keep both pets safe. They don’t want to return her to the shelter, but unless we find her a safe foster (or foster-to-adopt) soon, they may have no other choice. The cat is crying and urinating out of fear, and the family can only manage separation for a few more days. This is truly urgent. &#226&#156&#168 About Ginger (from her owners):Ginger is a sweet, affectionate mixed breed, about 8 months to 1 year old and 30 lbs—perfect for both adventures and couch cuddles. She’s playful but also loves to relax, great with kids (even as young as 2.5), and has done well with dogs off-leash in daycare. She may thrive with an older dog as a mentor. She knows sit and leave it, loves fetch, and has had two professional training sessions. Ginger does have some leash reactivity, but off-leash she’s social and comfortable with other dogs. A yard or patient adopter would be ideal. &#226&#157&#140 Needs a cat-free home&#226&#156&#133 Great with kids&#226&#156&#133 Good with dogs (is leash reactive)&#226&#156&#133 Loving, trainable, and ready for her forever family Ginger is a wonderful girl who deserves a second chance—she just needs the right, cat-free home. If you can foster or foster-to-adopt Ginger, please reach out immediately—she only has a few days!
