My story

Giovanni, the northern Italian cat! He is big, beautiful lion looking for his new forever home. He likes lounging around, as lions do, and enjoys a good brushing every so often. He will run when it is time to eat and occasionally will play with toys that are laying around. He also likes hanging around with his humans, other cats, and dogs are okay.  He has a big beautiful younger brother, Bagheera, that he would like to stay with. They spend a lot of time together, like sharing meals together, but they do like spending time apart, so Giovanni says it is okay if they go their separate ways now.  His owner found a baby photo of him, so we included that with his photos. He had a rough start in his new home at Rebels Rescue. He always had runny and heavy breathing. It took a while, but a special upper respiratory test showed what the problem was, and after a month of antibiotic he is doing great! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 29, 2025, 5:04 pm
