Great with both men and women Excellent with children Gets along very well with other dogs Good with cats Loves affection and enjoys close interaction with people Active but balanced, with a calm and steady temperament 🏡 Habits & Training House training: Prefers outdoor potty Crate trained: Doesn’t enter on his own, but stays calmly inside Walks: Always wears a leash, friendly toward people and dogs on walks Car rides: No problem, calm passenger Non-destructive and rarely barks 🌳 Ideal Home A yard is not required, but would be helpful since he prefers outdoor potty Apartment living is possible with regular walks Can live with or without other dogs 🐶 Rescue Story River was found at a dog meat slaughterhouse, tied to a post behind a shipping container. He had dug out the dirt beneath it to create a small cave where he tried to survive. Despite such harsh conditions, River held on, and now he’s waiting for a forever family who will show him kindness and love. 💌 River is a loving, gentle soul who thrives on human connection. He’s ready to bring joy, loyalty, and warmth to his forever home.
