My story

Meet Starsky! Starsky is a 1.5-year-old, 26-pound cutie with stand-up ears and a playful sparkle in his eyes. He and his brother were dumped in downtown San Antonio and left to fend for themselves, but you’d never know it from his gentle, happy nature. They were found with chihuahuas, so that’s probably in their breed mix, but they also look like Pharaoh Hound mixes. Starsky is the adventurous one—he loves his toys, enjoys gentle head pats, and is always ready for a little playtime. He’s house trained, crate trained, great with dogs of all sizes, and perfectly fine with cats and children. This boy is easygoing around loud noises like thunder and sleeps peacefully through the night (often joining in for a nap when you do!). He’s still learning about leashes, crates, and car rides, but his confidence grows each day. If you’re looking for a grateful, loving companion who’s ready for his happily-ever-after, Starsky is your guy.
