Tommi

My story

Tommi is a beauty! She is a 1yr old spayed female retriever/lab mix that weighs 63lbs. She was an owner surrender on 8/21 with her brother Ghost. Reason for surrender was the health of their owner. Tommi was shaking when I first met her. Her first reaction was to hide. Who can blame her? She doesn’t understand why after being with one family for one year she’s now at a shelter with dogs barking all around her. She’s also missing her brother. She appears to be housetrained and well cared for. After some time, Tommi began to relax but still needs time to decompress. As we continue to spend time with her, her loving personality will come through. She’s already sweet, gentle and well mannered. There’s no doubt she’ll be a loyal, loving companion. She walks OK on a leash but at times can pull quite strongly. She has so so much love to give you. She wants to be an inside dog so she can get the benefits of the air conditioning and a comfy couch or bed. Can you provide her the loving home she deserves?
