My story

Meet Drako! This handsome 68-pound pit bull mix is about 1–2 years old and already winning hearts everywhere he goes. Drako was found running the streets on a hot summer day, he was skinny, wearing out his paw pads, but you’d never know it now—he’s full of love, life, and goofy charm. Drako is incredibly affectionate and really loves attention. Personal space? Not in his vocabulary, lol—he thinks he’s a lap dog and wants to be close to his people at all times. He’s crate trained, house trained, and even sleeps through the night like a champ. He’s an adventurer at heart and enjoys being outside, but he’s also easygoing when it comes to care—he doesn’t mind baths, ear cleanings, or having his paws touched. When it’s playtime, stuffed toys don’t stand a chance (five minutes max!), but he’s a big fan of Kong-type toys that keep him busy. Drako walks “okay” on a leash for now, but with how quick he learns and how food-motivated he is, he’s bound to be a star walker soon. With his smarts, sweet temperament, and eagerness to please, the sky’s the limit for this boy. Drako has so much potential and is ready for a family who will help him grow into the amazing dog he’s destined to be. Could that be you?
