She recently witnessed a traumatic dog fight, and when we met her, she trembled in our arms but didn’t pull away. She wanted to feel safe. And after a few quiet minutes, she sighed, settled in, and fell asleep in our arms. She’s now resting, decompressing, and slowly beginning to trust. At about 6 months old, Miriam is sweet, soft, and emotionally intelligent. She isn’t loud, pushy, or wild. She’s quiet, loving, and deeply connected to her humans. She especially loves being held and snuggling with her stuffed duck. What Miriam needs:• A calm, patient home full of love• Gentle humans who will show her the world is safe again• Calm dogs and respectful, quiet children (if any)• A slow reintroduction to play, confidence, and joy Miriam has all her shots and is ready.
