My story

Meet Phoenix! Phoenix’s story is just as special as he is. He came to us as a stray/barn cat. It quickly became clear that Phoenix wasn’t thriving outdoors—he longed for companionship, warmth, and playtime. He’s shown us over and over that he’s meant to be a beloved house cat, not left to fend for himself outside. Now that he’s safe and cared for, Phoenix’s personality shines. He’s an energetic, fun-loving boy who adores chasing toys, exploring new spots, and showing off his silly side. He’s also incredibly social and truly lights up when he has another cat friend around. When Phoenix is all tuckered out, he has a sweet habit of curling up for naps—sometimes right on your shoulders! He loves being close and reminding you he’s part of the family. While he isn’t bonded to a specific kitty, he would be happiest in a home with another playful feline to keep him company. Phoenix is looking for a loving family that will give him plenty of attention, enrichment, and a cat friend to wrestle with and curl up beside. He has already proven he’s not built for outdoor life—this boy deserves a safe, cozy home where he’ll never have to worry about being alone or outside again. Phoenix is a 6 month old boy. HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
