Meet Shaggy, the noisy, loving boy who can't wait to meet you. Shaggy is a light tiger striped tabby cat with a white-tipped tail that was born approximately June 2021. His face may default to looking angry or annoyed, but he's always quite content and happy as can be. His biological sister, Cleo, from the same litter, is in HART care as well and currently lives with the same foster. Shaggy was rescued from an unsafe living situation where he often spent most of his days outside. Despite this, he's very content with his new life living solely inside and he loves to be cuddled up in his foster parents' laps. Shaggy doesn't demand constant pets, rather he's happy to simply share the space with his human (but will never turn down pets when you're in the mood to give them!). He loves to talk and show off his voice with his people, letting his opinions be known, especially at meal time (he loves to act like he's never been fed each time mealtime comes around). He would do best in a home with strict meal times (no free range feeding) as he loves to eat anything he can get his hands on. When not with humans, Shaggy loves playing with the cat wand and various other toys or lying on the window perches so he can watch outside. He gets along great with other cats, dogs, and small children, even laying and bonding with his foster dog siblings. Shaggy is hopeful he'll find his forever family, and looks forward to meeting them in the near future! All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Shaggy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
