This petite pup may be smaller than your typical GSD, but she’s got a big personality and a heart full of love. Ashlyna came from a backyard breeder situation in Georgia, where she didn’t get the best start in life — but you’d never know it by her sweet, playful spirit. She’s incredibly friendly, social, and full of puppy joy. Whether it’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, or curling up for snuggles, Ashlyna is soaking up all the love and care she’s finally getting. As far as puppy energy goes, she is on the more "chill" side, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love to play and go for adventures with her humans. She's a fun loving snuggly girl. She’s still a baby, so she’s learning all the basics — crate training, potty training, leash skills, and manners — but she’s doing great and eager to learn more every day. With the love of a foster or adopter, she’ll leave her past behind and grow into a confident, loving companion. Apply today to foster or adopt — and help Ashlyna get the fresh start she deserves. __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer,  vaccinations, and heart worm prevention (age appropriate). Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. ​3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
