My story

🐾🐾 IMMEDIATE FOSTER HOME NEEDED!!! 🐾🐾 Introducing Mr. Maple! Mr. Maple is a handsome 5 1/2 yr. old Labrador/Pit Bull mix, weighing 65 lbs. This extremely gentle mannered boy will win you over in a heartbeat! He is affectionate, quiet and an easy keeper. A great example of his breed - capable of love and loyalty - qualities that deserve appreciation. Mr. Maple is house and dog-door trained, knows “sit” and rides well in a car. He will slightly pull on the leash when you first venture outside, then walks loose leash and often by your side. He loves his daily 1 mile long morning and evening walks! If his new Family is unable to walk him daily, a large secure yard is required. He has excellent recall. It will be easy to polish his commands as he is very treat motivated. Mr. Maple has been a wonderful and loyal companion to a senior couple as their only pet. He is good with both adult men and women. He is uncomfortable around small screaming/loud children. He will retreat and hide. Mr. Maple is also good with male and female dogs. Although, he is very intimidated by overly assertive dogs and, again, will retreat and seek a safe place. It is unknown how he is with cats. Mr. Maples is in need of a new home due to his owner’s health challenges. Apply to Meet to Adopt Mr. Maple today.
