Bucky

My story

Bucky is a 4 year old black Labrador Retriever mix. He is a stage 5 clinger and loves to cuddle and be close! Bucky has the softest fur, and would love to be pet constantly.  Bucky is house-trained and very energetic, so he would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard. He knows sit, down, place, and “put ‘r there” (shake).  Bucky has lived with children younger than 8 and has done well with them, but would most likely do best with older children or no children, as he can be a bit anxious with new people. He would love to have a dog friend his age because he is very playful and might enjoy a friend who can keep up with him. He would also do well in a home as the only pet, because he loves to be the center of attention! Bucky is also used to having his people work from home, so he would do well in a home where he is not left alone too often.   Bucky is a member of our Keep Them Home program.March 9, 2026, 3:20 pm
