My story

Meet Seal! Seal is a handsome, lovable boy with a gentle spirit. He does well when crated and enjoys relaxing, but he’s also starting to discover the fun of toys, tennis balls, chew kongs, and anything else he can play with. His activity level tends to match the environment around him: calm when things are quiet, and more playful when there’s action. Seal enjoys his personal space but likes to know where his people are. He’s still learning to fully enjoy human touch, preferring to come to you on his own terms, but once he’s ready, he’s affectionate and sweet. He doesn’t show negative reactions, just a bit of avoidance until he’s comfortable. With patience and time, Seal will continue to blossom. He does well with other dogs and enjoys their company, while cats are of no interest to him, he simply avoids them. Seal is also working on his commands and making steady progress. Seal has had eyelid surgery in the past, which has already improved his eyesight, and it may continue to get even better. He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, he warms up beautifully. Happy, gentle, and eager to belong, Seal would thrive in a patient, loving home that will give him time to adjust. In return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, sweetness, and a well-behaved companion who just wants to know where you are.
