My story

It’s ALVIN! Alvin is a male teenager kitten with a classic tan tabby cloak over a white background, and a crook at the end of his tail. The coloring on his front arm gives him a cool sleeved tattoo look! Alvin loves playing with anything from balls, mice, and string toys to receipts, toilet paper tubes, and your legs as you walk by (he is gentle with his claws). Alvin enjoys wrestling with his brothers and fellow cats. He will need to be carefully monitored as he is very curious about the outdoors and may try to dash through the door or out the windows. When napping, Alvin is typically snuggled up with another kitty or nestled in a cat bed. At bedtime he’ll snuggle next to you, purring loudly as he collects all the pets. Alvin is a sweet, energetic, and independently playful kitty excited for a new adventure with a loving family! Alvin would love to go home with one of his brothers, SIMON or THEODORE. Alvin has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  You can meet ALVIN at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in South Eugene (2858 Willamette St) beginning Saturday, 8/30.  Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet.  The $175 (320 for a pair) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
