My story

Do you have room is your heart for a sweet, shy girl with a big heart? BOGEY is a beautiful, short-haired, black panther beauty with huge green eyes. Gentle and shy, Bogey needs a genuine “cat whisperer” to bring her out of her shell. It will take some time to build her confidence and trust in you. Once she grows accustomed to her surroundings and her humans, her true nature is revealed. Adopting Bogey will be like going on a blind date!  You know it's going to be wonderful, but it will be a mystery up until you get her home and slowly experience the surprise of how kind and sweet she is. BOGEY loves affection and belly rubs, and will often arch her neck for pets. She knows her name, will come running when called and enjoys all the attention you can lavish on her. Bogey was found as a small kitten on a golf course with one sibling – which explains her unusual name. She is seeking a quiet home where she can take the time she needs to grow more confident, overcome her fears, and enjoy the companionship of her humans. She would much prefer to be the only pet in the home, as her shy nature makes it difficult for her to make friends with other cats or dogs. Your patience and kindness will be well rewarded by a lifelong relationship with a cat who will be forever devoted to you. BOGEY has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Bogey in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to adoptioninfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID 2409-C0351 BOGEY DOB 8/1/2024 (est) BEST AS AN ONLY CAT AFRAID OF DOGS BEST WITH QUIET OLDER KIDS OR ADULTSAugust 17, 2025, 6:51 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bogey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
