My story

Looking for the perfect pair to add heart and harmony to your home? Say hello to Flint and Charcoal, a brother-sister duo whose bond is as strong as their personalities are unique. Flint is the cat everyone dreams of—outgoing, charming, and completely irresistible. He’s always in the middle of the action, whether it’s chasing toys, playing with other pets, or supervising the humans. His favorite thing? Being carried around like a baby. He’ll gently place his front paws on your leg, look up with those sweet eyes, and let out the softest meow—asking to be scooped up and snuggled. He’s incredibly friendly with everyone he meets, whether two-legged or four, and has an amazing ability to make any house feel like home. His sister, Charcoal, is a quiet beauty still finding her confidence. While she prefers to observe the world from a safe distance for now, she watches her brother closely, taking comfort in his bravery and trust in humans. Flint is her emotional anchor—her steady, fearless companion who helps her feel safe. We're hopeful that, once they’re in a calmer, forever home, Charcoal will begin to show just how loving and affectionate she can be. Charcoal adores other animals, especially cats and dogs, and feels most secure when she’s around gentle, predictable companions. While Flint thrives in busy households (including with respectful children), Charcoal would be happiest in a quieter environment where she can bloom at her own pace. Together, they are the perfect mix of bold and shy, confident and cautious—balancing each other out in the most beautiful way. These two must be adopted as a pair; separating them would be like pulling apart two pieces of the same heart. If you have room for two, and the patience to let a gentle soul like Charcoal come into her own, Flint and Charcoal are ready to make your life twice as meaningful. Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption). All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion. Location: Glastonbury, CTAdoption Fee: $300 per kitten ##2357026##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Charcoal (BONDED PAIR), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
