My story

Double the Toes, Double the Charm – Meet Strudel & Cider! Strudel and Cider are a sweet, shy sister duo around 10 months old, and they’re looking for a quiet, patient home to call their own—together. Strudel is a stunning beige beauty with Siamese-style coloring and soft, inquisitive eyes. While she’s still a little shy around people, she’s making great progress and is starting to enjoy gentle pets—on her terms, of course! Once she feels safe, she’ll treat you to her playful side, darting in and out of tunnels and chasing her favorite little mouse toys. Cider is a sleek black kitten with a special twist—she’s polydactyl, which means she has adorable “thumbs” on her front paws! Cider is more reserved than her sister and is still learning to trust people. She prefers the company of her toys for now, especially her beloved mouse, and will thrive with someone who understands that love takes time. She also absolutely loves other cats, and a feline-friendly home could help her continue to blossom. Both girls came from a hoarding situation and have had a rough start to life. As a result, they’re what we call "chronic sniffers"—they may always have a bit of eye or nasal discharge despite daily immune supplements in their food. It’s a small thing, really, considering how resilient and loving they are underneath the surface. They must be adopted together, as they find great comfort in each other. Due to their timid nature, we recommend an adult-only home or one with older, respectful children. To make their journey home even sweeter, a generous donor has sponsored Cider’s adoption fee—so this precious pair is ready and waiting for someone with a kind heart and a little extra patience. Could that be you? Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption). All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion. Location: Bolton, CTAdoption Fee: $300 per kitten ##2196053##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Strudel (BONDED PAIR), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
