My story

Meet Whiskey! This lovely lady is ready to find her forever home after being recently surrendered into our care. Whiskey is a beautiful, affectionate, and playful pup who`s hoping to become the newest member of a loving, dog-savvy family. She has shown a bit of reactivity in her previous home, but it’s important to understand that reactivity is not the same as aggression. For Whiskey, this may come from feelings of anxiety, fear, or frustration, common challenges that many dogs experience, especially during transitions or on leash. With a little patience, consistency, and understanding, dogs like Whiskey often thrive in the right environment. Because of this, Whiskey is best suited for a home with prior dog experience and may not be ideal for first-time dog owners. To ensure the best match, she will also need to meet any resident dogs before going home-slow, positive introductions are key to helping her feel safe and comfortable. That said, Whiskey has so much love to give and is eager to bond with her future family. She enjoys playtime, cuddles, and being around people she trusts. With the right guidance, this sweet girl will no doubt become a loyal and loving companion.
