My story

Meet Theodore Theodore is an 8-year-old Chihuahua with a sweet heart, a playful spirit, and an endless love for his people. At just 11 pounds, he’s the perfect size for couch cuddles, short walks, and being your constant little companion. This gentle boy has lived with both dogs and cats before and enjoys the company of people of all ages, including children. While he’s open to new furry friends, he does best with slow introductions to make sure personalities click. Theodore loves his daily walks and is learning leash manners with patience and consistency. He can be a little shy when strangers pass by, but he never barks or causes a fuss. With dogs, he can be excitable, so he’ll need guidance from a confident adopter to keep making progress. Once back home, Theodore is happiest snuggled up on the couch or curled beside you, ready to relax. Like many small dogs, Theodore is still polishing his potty training and benefits from a consistent routine and plenty of positive reinforcement. He’s also working on his confidence when left alone and would do best in a home where someone is around often or where he can have gradual support building independence. He will thrive with a patient adopter who sees his quirks as part of his journey rather than obstacles. Health-wise, Theodore is doing well with a recent dental, joint support, and a healthy diet. His new family should continue helping him keep his weight in check and stay on top of routine care like nail trims and anal gland checks. Theodore would be a wonderful fit for someone who wants a loyal, loving companion and is willing to invest a little patience into his training. In return, he promises a lifetime of affection, companionship, and joy. Theodore is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped
