Meet Godric! Godric is a very distinguished almost 7-year-old domestic short hair. He is neutered, microchipped, litter box trained, up to date on shots and has a negative triple snap test. Godric believes he should be the center of your world along with any of the other animals in the house. He demands pets and attention from humans and animals alike. He is good with dogs of all sizes. As long as they don't chase him. He is okay with cats if they're okay with sharing they're human with him or have no desire to have the human's attention at all, that's even better. He is allergic to mosquitoes and therefore cannot under any circumstances be allowed to go outside or be taken outside. Although he is harness trained, he has a severe reaction to mosquito bites. This reaction is actually the cause of the hair loss on the back of his ears which unfortunately is permanent scarring from wounds. You do have to watch him around doors. If give him the option to escape he will. However, if you have a cat tree or a shelf near your door and you place him on it before you open the door he will just contentedly look out of it. Did we mention he loves attention? He requires it. It's part of his necessary life goals that someone or something is touching him at all times when in his vicinity. So if you don't want a cuddly cat, he's not the best cat for you. Almost 7 years ago. Godric was found in the middle of the road by a Good Samaritan at just 2 to 3 weeks of age. He has technically been with apaws his entire life. Although his bottle feeder has tried their best to make it work with him as a member of the family, he makes them very sick. They have kept him all of these years because the rescue was not actively doing cat adoptions. But now that we have started cat adoptions again, they hope to find him a home that will give him the love and cuddles he lives for because they cannot. Please consider opening your heart and home to Godric If you are interested in meeting and/or starting the adoption process on Godric, the first step is to please click this link and complete an adoption application : https://forms.gle/UmHZA7hNQNc7TicY9 Please note- All of the cats in our program along with being spayed/neutered, having age appropriate core vaccines, wormed & microchipped will have also received feline leukemia vaccines and a triple snap test. *Please answer ALL questions on the application and EVERY PART of those questions *APAWS reserves the right to refuse any application
