Meet Mochi – A Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold ❄️ Mochi is a calm and soulful senior looking for her second chance at love. After losing her owner, she was surrendered to the shelter and is now hoping to find a new family to call her own. This beautiful girl has lived with both kids and other dogs in the past, and she knows her way around a doggy door. She can be a little toy and food protective, so she'd thrive best in a home that respects her space during mealtime and play. Mochi tends to startle at loud noises and would do best in a calm, predictable environment—ideally with older children who can understand her gentle boundaries. She’s a smart girl who already knows how to sit and has excellent manners. Though she may be cautious at first, she warms up slowly and sweetly. Mochi is especially sensitive to tension on the leash around her neck, but with time and reassurance, she relaxes and settles into a nice rhythm on walks. Our veterinary team has given her a full dental cleaning, so she’s feeling fresh and healthy—and ready to smile for her new family! Mochi is a gentle giant with a kind heart.
