My story

Meet Kiwi & Coconut – the sweetest tabico sisters you’ll ever meet! Born 3/24/25, these bonded girls had quite the start in life. Their mama was a feral cat living on the streets, cared for by a kind woman who fed her daily. On the very day their mama was TNR’d, she surprised everyone by giving birth to four kittens—two orange boys (already adopted) and two adorable tabico girls… Kiwi and Coconut. These sisters are the perfect mix of sweet, curious, and talkative. They love to “chat” with their humans and investigate anything new—whether it’s a toy, scratching post, bed, or a whole new room to explore. Coconut (slightly bigger) is the energetic hunter of the pair, especially when it comes to chasing a wand toy. Kiwi (smaller, with the biggest eyes you’ve ever seen) will gaze right into your heart and melt it instantly. They’ve grown up side by side and would love to find a forever home together where they can share all of life’s adventures. Kiwi and Coconut are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
