My story

Meet Boone, a charming 1-year-old boy, looking for his forever home! Boone is a social and loving lap cat who thrives on human attention. He has quite the story to tell.... You see, Boone was found abandoned with his brother, Asher, in the lobby of an apartment building. A good samaritan tried to do the right thing and find a shelter to take them in, but after many failed attempts, they eventually dropped them off at our adoption partner store in the South Loop during an adoption pop-up. When another foster found these boys, the rescue and foster jumped into action and got them to safety. Despite a tumultous few months, he adores being in the company of people and is always eager to shower his humans with affection. One of Boone's favorite activities is climbing onto your shoulders to be as close to you as possible! He also enjoys chasing any toy he can find, proving that he's not just a cuddle bug but also a playful feline companion. One of his superpowers is his ability to capture hearts with his endearing personality. If he had one job in the world, it would be a professional lap warmer as he is always ready to climb into your lap for love.  Boone is a lovebug dreamboat cat who needs to be adopted with his bonded brother, Asher, as they share a special bond. They have been abandoned together twice, and they are now hoping to find a home that will love them together forever. The boys have been exposed to other cats in their foster home, where they were indifferent to their presence. While not exposed to children in his foster home, his sweet nature would make him excellent with children. Since Boone loves wand toys and any toys that he can chase across the floor, playtime with him will be a joyous experience. He would thrive in a household where he can bask in love and attention. Despite some early life challenges, Boone's spirit remains unbroken, and he is ready to find a loving family to call his own.
