My story

Imagine being taken to a boarding facility and left there forever. That's what happened to sweet Sonya. Once the facility realized her owners weren't coming back, Sonja, who we estimate to be 8-10 years old, wound up at a high kill shelter. Despite her past, Sonya has never met a stranger. Everyone is her friend. Dogs, cats and kids. Sonya sleeps with her foster mom every night and enjoys finding a soft lap during the day. Sonya was clearly neglected by her previous owners. We are addressing some medical issues before we release her for adoption.
