My story

Meet Joker! Joker came to ACCT as a stray on 8/17. Finder noted that Joker was good, scared on leash and described as shy and scared. While at ACCT Joker has been nervous but opened up when he met another dog! He is now looking for a loving home that will give him the time he needs to come around. VIDEO: Joker Meets Another Dog: https://youtube.com/shorts/DBEt-6cwfQ4 8/20 Per volunteer- Joker was shaking in his kennel in fear and tried to make himself small against the back wall to avoid being leashed. A really nice staff member leashed him after hot dogs didn’t help bring him to the door. Once leashed he exited the kennel really nicely. Outside he declined leaving campus opting to remain where he feels safe. Joker lit up when he had the opportunity to play through the fence with another dog. He play bowed and his little tail wagged!!!! Playgroup notes 8/20: Joker had his ears back with nub wags and his hackles raised. he ran into the yard and was super curious in the yard. in the beginning he was handler orientated and blossomed into a wild and bouncy dog. he was pushy but gentle and the same times, play bowing and nagging in play with every dog. he enjoyed a bit of chase and darted around as fast as he could with scooby. 8/18 Per Staff: Sitting on bed, lip licks and furrowed brow, yawn. offered a treat and he stood up, tail low wagging fast, ears back.
