My story

I’m a tiny, adorable female Chihuahua mix! My name might sound spicy, but I’m actually the sweetest little pup you’ll ever meet. I love people—like, really love them! Even if I’ve never met you before, I’ll happily wag my tail and come say hi. If you give me a few gentle pets, I’ll roll over and show you my belly—I’m always ready to be loved. I get along pretty well with other dogs too, even big ones! I’m still a puppy, though, so I’ve got lots of playful energy. Sometimes I don’t notice when other dogs are getting tired or annoyed, and I might keep trying to play. So I’d do best with dog friends who are patient, or with some gentle guidance to help me learn boundaries. I’m super social and full of life! I can go potty both indoors and outdoors, and I’m about 70% successful with pee pads right now. I might have accidents when I’m alone, but with a bit of practice and patience, I’ll keep improving! I enjoy going for walks and I walk nicely, but I’m a bit sensitive to collars, so I’m currently using a harness. We’ll be working on leash walks too, and I’m doing really well overall. Like many puppies, I’m in the teething phase—so I love to chew! If I’m alone, I might go looking for something to nibble, so having chew toys or treats around really helps prevent me from chewing the wrong things. I’m playful, affectionate, smart, and totally ready to be someone’s best friend.
