My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If your interested in adopting me please fill out an adoption application! I was once an extremely shy feline of substantial girth and a proud member of the “Round Boy’s” club. As my name would have it, I mostly played hide and seek, hoping humans wouldn’t find me. My days were filled with naps, and my food bowl was always overflowing. Once I arrived at my new foster home, my mom, a woman of questionable fashion choices but excellent chin scratches, looked at me with an expression of deep, soul-searching concern. The next morning, my food bowl was different. It was filled with what can only be described as "rabbit food"—a tasteless, crunchy pellet that offered none of the joy of my previous meaty feasts. My weight loss journey had begun. It was a harrowing, often emotional ordeal. The new food was a betrayal of the highest order. My foster mom’s new motto seemed to be "play, not purr." She'd dangle a feather wand, and I'd be forced to bat at it like a commoner, when all I truly wanted was to nap. I was made to chase a red dot that never, ever landed in my paws. The indignity! My once-regal belly, a testament to a life of leisure, began to shrink. But then, something magical happened. I started to feel... good. The stairs, once a mountain range of impossible terrain, became an exhilarating climb. I could now jump onto the cat tree with a single, elegant bound, a feat that had previously required a multi-stage launching sequence. I even managed to catch that darn red dot once—or, at least, I got close enough to make it disappear. I may have lost most of the chonk, but I've gained a new lease on life and am now looking for my forever home. I love spirited zoomies and the satisfying feeling of a well-executed pounce so if you already have cats, I'm sure to make a new friend.    ***ADOPTION INFORMATION: The adoption fee of $295 per feline includes a veterinary exam, parasites treatment, spay/neuter, vaccination and microchip. The adopter will be responsible for the first, second and third sets of vaccinations if they haven't already been administered.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 25, 2025, 10:39 pm
