Despite her best “Pick me, I’m amazing!” face, everyone walked by. But then—cue the dramatic rescue music—Hope Ranch swooped in. A foster took one look at Sandy’s megawatt grin and said, “Girl, let's bust you outta here!” *60 pounds of pure wiggle. *Grins so big they need their own zip code. *Professional mood booster. Now Sandy’s a 2-year-old lab mix who has mastered the art of being everyone’s favorite goofball. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, knows tricks, and is basically a Labrador comedian in fur. She LOVES people. Like, *might-start-a-fan-club* level love. She’s wonderful with kids, cats, and dogs, though she’s not about the “stampede welcome.” She prefers polite dogs. If dogs bum-rush her at full speed (imagine everyone swarming to meet the new girl), Sandy sets a firm boundary: “Back it up, hooligans.” **Leash report:** imagine walking a parade float that’s very excited to see you. Sometimes she pulls when she’s thrilled, but she’s eager to please and really does try to follow the rules. Sandy loves car rides and adventures. She makes alllll the friends at breweries and parks. She has never met a stranger; everyone is a bestieboo. *Always down for adventure. *Certified belly-rub addict. *Part-time comedian, full-time best friend. Sandy would thrive with a family who’s home often or who loves to bring their dog along for hikes, beach trips, or random errands. She doesn’t care what the plan is—she just wants in. Because at the end of the day, Sandy isn’t just a dog. She’s comic relief, a loyal shadow, and the best friend you didn’t know you were missing.
