My story

The yin to Mystic's yang, Sprinkles has much more nuanced and complex opinions on human strangers from her time on the streets. She doesn't quite trust people yet over her trusty and fluffy feline companions that she grew up with, but you can tell she wants to and is actively working on trying to! Pre-food time/whenever she thinks it's time for food (which is all of the time, not great at food regulation over here) she will do the most adorable slide, flop, stretch, and roll maneuver, and she'll let out the cutest little meows of excitement while walking you to her food bowl. She went from hiding from her fosters 24/7 to approaching them during feeding time and aggressively headbutting and rubbing against their legs and hanging out adjacent to them. She just occasionally realizes halfway through her happiness that it's towards a 'person' not a cat and will jump away like a tiny offended kangaroo. Because of her more cautious nature she generally defaults to curling up in smaller spaces, like the basket of a cat tree, or an area that has multiple exits so she knows she can escape (the smartest of her siblings). But she is also incredibly curious and will give you some of the most adorable head tilts while watching you and trying to figure out what you're doing. While she might not be super happy to play with you directly, she is OBSESSED with lights and reflections, is a fairly competent bug hunter, and shares a passion with her brother, Mystic, for intense wrestling matches. She also is the most considerate because she understands that her little sister, Minxy, does not like roughhousing, so she plays with her in a much gentler way! Minxy will never play with Mystic, but is happy to play wrestle with Sprinkles when she's wanting to expend some energy. Some fun quirks: - When you get hit with her head tilt and stare you will never feel more judged, but you will be so fine with it because it's so stinking cute. - When you walk towards where you would like to go, if she's in the path she will, without fail, always walk in the same direction that you would like to go and be offended that you're following her. - Has a passion for attacking feet under blankets while she thinks you're sleeping. She can touch you, you can't touch her. - Very interested in watching TV, especially if animals are involved. - Very bad at knowing that watching TV while being right next to a TV is probably bad for her eyes.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sprinkles, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
