My story

Meet Ice Cream Sundae! This lovable and playful boy is ready to steal your heart. Ice Cream Sundae showed up at the back door of Tenth Life, looking for a forever home. He is shy at first, but once he gets to know you and his surroundings, he will become part of the family. He loves to be around people and will sit at your feet while you watch your favorite shows. Ice Cream Sundae is a good eater and will totally bond if you give him treats! He loves to explore. He's not much of a jumper and prefers to stay on the floor or a cozy couch. If you give him scratches around his ears and chin, you'll have a friend for life. He'll let you know when he wants to be picked up by rubbing himself against your legs. Ice Cream Sundae can get overstimulated at times and would love a home with someone who will give him space when that happens. Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Ice Cream Sundae has feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), but please don't write him off just yet! Let us tell you about it. Having FeLV, he will need his family to keep a very close eye on his health. This means watching for any changes in behavior, eating, drinking, or bathroom habits, physical changes anywhere on my body... no observation is too small with FeLV or FIV, and his family should get guidance from a veterinarian whenever you notice anything. His immune system can be more fragile than a cat without FeLV, so when something comes up, it's important to act fast to avoid compounding symptoms. FeLV is only contagious to other cats, so if I have a feline buddy, they should also be FeLV-positive. I'll promise you one thing - FeLV has no hold on how much Ice Cream Sundae will love his family and how much joy he'll bring to your life!
