My story

Daveithai A17706338 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old -Total puppy!-Decent on leash at times and bouncy and twirls other times-He can be jumpy at times but is super treat motivated! -He’s already learning that four on the floor equals snacks. He picking it up quickly!-He knows “sit” and he takes snacks decently-A lot of times when you ask him to “sit” he goes into a lay-He seems smart and eager to learn but will definitely need puppy training-He’s playful and likes toys-When he settles in, he likes to be laying on your lap for pets and belly rubs-He gives some kisses-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
