My story

Brock Booker A17722145 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old -Playful and cute boy!-I threw a tennis ball and he started chasing it and prancing around the whole yard. He’s fun!-I sat on the ground and he immediately came over for attention and pets-Gives some gentle kisses-He’s currently working on “sit” for treats and he is already getting the hang of it-He takes snacks very gently. Sometimes he eats them right away and sometimes he runs around the yard playing with his food before he actually eats it. 😂-Walks very nicely on leash-Overall good boy!-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
