My story

You ever meet a dog who instantly steals your heart? That’s Bowser. He came to us from a crowded shelter, where he was just another overlooked black pittie. But Bowser has a depth to his soul that’s impossible to ignore—he’s a diamond in the rough, simply waiting for the right person to see his true worth. At our recent adoption event, Bowser was the perfect gentleman. Even after hours of meeting new people and dogs, he never stopped showing his sweet, loving personality. Sadly, many passed him by simply because of his breed, never giving him the chance to prove what an incredible dog he really is. Bowser loves everyone—people, dogs, and even little kids. His foster family describes him as an easy-going, snuggly companion who’s brilliant on leash and enjoys neighborhood strolls. He is house trained and crate trained. When he gets a burst of energy, a quick play session does the trick, and then he’s back to being a laid-back guy who just wants to be by your side. At around 6–7 years old and 65 lbs, Bowser may be entering the second half of life, but he has so much love left to give. Once, he had a family—he was even microchipped—but no one ever came to reclaim him after months in the shelter. Now, we’re determined to make sure Bowser never feels forgotten again.
