Ferb`s Compatibility:Dogs: Meet & GreetCats: No, thank youKids: Yes, 12 years and upFerb is doing his best in a world that still feels a little too loud, a little too fast, and a lot bigger than he’s ready for. We don’t know much about his past, but it’s clear that socializing and exploring weren’t big parts of it. So now, he’s learning. And trying. And taking it all in at his own pace.He needs a home that will let him do just that... take it slow. Ferb may not be the dog who rushes over to greet you. But if you sit nearby with a toy or two (especially something squeaky), you`ll start to see him light up. He loves trading toys, is a total goof in the yard once he’s relaxed, and gives quiet, earnest tail wags when he feels safe. He’s the kind of dog who might one day rest his head on your leg like he’s known you forever, because you gave him the time to get there. He’s respectful with food and toys, has been non-destructive in his kennel, and responds well to consistent routines. He’s a dog who thrives on predictability, calm voices, and gentle hands.Ferb cannot live with cats or small animals, and he’ll need a home without little kids or lots of chaos. But if you`re someone who understands that connection takes a bit, and who finds joy in the quiet moments of progress, you might be exactly who Ferb is waiting for.He doesn’t want the spotlight. He just wants someone who sees him, chooses him, and gives him the time to be fully himself.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ferb, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
