My story

**ALL ADOPTIONS INCLUDE A HOME VISIT, YOU MUST LIVE IN BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES** Meet Banksy: The Little Artist of Love  Introducing Banksy, a 2.5-year-old, Malti-zu (Maltese–Shih Tzu mix) whose greatest masterpiece is the way he paints joy into the hearts of those around him. At just 11 pounds, this hypoallergenic sweetheart has a gift for making you feel special. Whether it’s through the way his soulful eyes say “thank you” for every gentle pet, or how he cleverly finds a way into your arms as if it’s the place he was always meant to be. Banksy can be a little shy in new environments, but his trust grows quickly. When he feels uncertain, he’ll quietly nudge himself closer to you, seeking the comfort of your embrace. Around other small dogs, he comes alive—playfully initiating games and sharing in their fun. He’s healthy, happy, hypoallergenic, and ready to love. But like all small dogs with a beautiful, soft coat, Banksy will need professional grooming every 6 weeks to keep him comfortable and looking his best. And as with all dogs in Florida, he should be kept on monthly heartworm prevention to protect him from the dangerous mosquito-borne disease. Banksy is looking for a family who will cherish his gentle heart, provide the care he deserves, and keep him close—because his favorite place in the world will always be right by your side. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal little companion who will love you with every ounce of his being, Banksy is waiting to meet you. This dog's adoption fee is $550 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). If you are interested, please fill out the adoption application For additional information regarding our adoption process, please check our FAQ's Page.   *All dogs in the care of Get a Life Pet Rescue live in loving foster homes while waiting for their perfect match. They don't live in cages or crates (unless there is a medical reason to do so.) They are treated as family pets while in our care. * All dogs in our care are fed premium brand holistic food as well as supplements and vitamins specific to each dog's needs. We don't buy inexpensive bulk dry kibble; our rescues are fed premium wet food diets as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to ensure maximum health. *All of our rescues receive complete quality vetting, including full dental cleaning with pre-op bloodwork, spay/neuter, vaccines, and grooming. Dogs in need of specialized medicine will be seen by specialists, such as full cardiac workups, and ophthalmologist visits, all suspicious lumps and bumps are biopsied, and every medical need is transparent to potential adopters. *Once you adopt from Get a Life Pet Rescue, you become part of our compassionate family, and we are here for you if a problem with your precious dog arises. ##2491855##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Banksy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
