My story

Meet Strudel! This sweet girl came to us with a litter of puppies; they were found as strays. Strudel was in rough shape and heartworm positive. When we first received her, we noticed she walked with a limp and sat kind of weird. We took her to the orthopedic specialist and discovered she was riddled with shot gun pellets. While we can`t remove every single pellet, we did proceed with surgery to help with her leg. She also had an injury to her eye and saw the eye specialist as well. She has been on drops, had her re-check, and is doing well!The eye specialist was able to determine that Strudel is 5 years old, and the Embark Age Test we ran on her said the same thing! Strudel has received her injections to treat the heartworm disease and is ready to find her forever home. Despite all she has been through, she is still a complete angel. She has been staying with an employee at her house. She`s been great with her medium and small dogs, and also great with the three cats! If you`re looking for a super sweet adult shepherd mix, we are sure you would adore Strudel.All of our dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.
