My story

Aphrodite is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Aphrodite does wonderful in a quieter home. She is fine with adults and older kids, but sometimes gets scared or startled around young kids who are very active. She does fine with other cats and has been fine with dogs. The current dog spends most of her time downstairs, so Aphrodite does not interact with her a lot. When it comes to adults, if you are her person, she will show you all the attention and she loves to snuggle either in bed or on the sofa. Her only quirk right now is that she is a little on the hefty side which makes it hard for her to groom herself, so she either needs groomed professionally or to have her potty patch trimmed and her coat brushed (gently) in order to help keep it healthy.
