My story

Meet Simba- A Loyal Friend Waiting for HomeSimba is a gentle senior who came to us as an owner surrender. In his first days at the shelter, he searched for his person, not quite understanding why he was here. Through it all, his sweet spirit has shone through.Simba’s previous owner shared that he is potty trained, slept inside the home, and also enjoyed time outdoors. He walks beautifully on leash, knows how to sit on command, and truly wants to please his handler.Simba would do best in a cat-free home and can be selective with other dogs, so a thoughtful match is important. What he needs most is a loving, patient adopter who will give him the comfort and stability he deserves in his golden years.This loyal boy has so much love left to give. Could you be the one to give Simba his forever home? Simba has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
